By 2050, air pollution is becoming the top cause of death worldwide.

Air quality measurement is mandatory in cities and industries to demonstrate compliance with environmental regulations and their citizens’ health.

Air pollution takes its toll on the economy in several ways. For example, by 2060, the annual number of lost working days, which affect labor productivity, are projected to reach $3.7 billion (currently around $1.2 billion) at the global level (OECD).
